FS 167 - Best One Yet!

Good morning!  I actually got to play along over at Splitcoast Stampers for today's Featured Stamper - yeah!  It was just the inspiration I needed to ink up that awesome set - Wonderfully Whimsical.  What took me so long?  It is so darned cute, and now I'll be forced to use it again and again and again and....well, you get the picture!
I also used one of my all time favorite sets - Signature Greetings.  I just adore how this sentiment is so versatile - it can be for a birthday, a New Years card or anything that you might do on a yearly basis.  I'm going to send this to a friend who works hard on her garden every year.  Last year's weather was terrible, and our gardens suffered for it (and so did our tastebuds!).  We're all hoping and praying for a better year, and I know she'll love it!
It's sunny and gorgeous here, so I'm off to help the hubby spruce up the yard.  Have a fabulous Sunday!

Spring Time

I LOVE SPRING!  It makes my heart sing.  There's nothing not to love - I know that's a double negative, but I don't care!  I'm so in love with spring!
One of my favorite things about this season is tulips.  My wonderful husband has planted at least a hundred tulip bulbs over the past few years, and I was able to cut this year's first crop last night.  Arent' they beautiful?
I love to put them on the counter so they're the last thing I see when I walk out the door and the first thing I see when I return.

And now, on to a Spring card.  I was able to use some of my favorite crafty supplies, PTI cardstock and the Everyday Button Bits stamp set; and what could be more spring-y than Basic Black Gingham Ribbon?  Add some adorable American Crafts designer paper and my Nestabilities for a card that I think shouts out to say Happy Spring!

New Wheels ... and a Card

Well, here he is, the sunshine of my life - my grandson, Timothy Randall.  He's just seven months old, or should I say seven months old already!  Seems like just yesterday that he entered the world - bright eyed and ready to grab life with both hands.  He seems to love his new wheels - his Radio Flyer wagon.  It's amazing that today's little red wagon comes with all-terrain wheels, padded seats with belts, rounded and plastic corners and a canopy, not to mention the drink holders!  I am so looking forward to having such a grand time this summer pulling Timothy in the wagon on our long walks together to explore everything that country life brings, and now we'll be exploring in style!

And now, on to the card.  I love, love, love PTI's Signature Greetings set.  (Yes, I LOVE it!)  I paired the sentiment with some fun Cosmo Cricket  paper and PTI's Aqua Mist and Basic Black cardstock for this fun card.  The sentiment is layered with circle and inverted scalloped circle nestabilities, and some PTI black grosgrain ribbon adds the final touch.  So bright and simple!

Hopping off for now!  Thanks for looking, and have a great and happy Easter!
