Fancy Friday Blog Hop - Painted Autumn Inspiration

Welcome to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop...a super fun hop where I'm lucky to get to work with some fancy friends...who also happen to be past or current Stampin' Up! Artisans!  On the last Friday of each month we hop with a new challenge...and this month the challenge is all about being inspired by the Painted Autumn Suite!

Yes...the Painted Autumn Suite is chock full of fall goodness...but if you look closely you'll see that the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper lends itself to so much more!  In fact...it features eight (yes, eight!) colors that in some magical way work not only for this Suite, but for other projects, too!

For this Fancy Friday project...I wanted to highlight my favorite DSP pattern...which I did...in the card's center...and I was also inspired to use each of the paper's eight colors in some way.  I love how it turned out...doesn't it just feels like fun!

#TGIFC130 - Sweater Weather

Good morning...and happy Friday!  I'm back...with something lovely for this week's TGIF Challenge!

 It's #TGIFC130..and it's all about Sweater Weather!

I love my sweaters...and I typically treat myself to a new one each year.  Sometimes it's a gorgeous wool cardigan,,,or sometimes it's something in soft, soft cashmere.    And believe me...they all come in handy living in a drafty old farm house in northern Illinois!   So...when the leaves start changing and a chill hits the air...it's time to bring out the sweaters...old and new.  And so...turning leaves as sweater weather...that was my inspiration for this week's Sweater Weather challenge.  I die cut my fall leaf  in Cajun Craze...and added a pair of wooden leaves and a happy birthday sentiment...all to sit upon a bit of of Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper.  And I just knew the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder would be the perfect background for everything!

Stamp Review Crew - Spooky Cat

Welcome...to Sunday...and to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop!  We're featuring the Spooky Cat Stamp Set...a super fun set that will definitely remind you how much you love getting crafty and creative!

So...here's our set...chock full with a tattooed cat, witch's hat, growling owl, bubbly potions, and even a rat!  What more could you ask for Halloween? 

As for me...I love this fun set so much I couldn't stop with just one project...so I have three!  First up...I'm showing off our tattooed cat.

And inside?  A fun surprise...an easel fold!

And then...another fold...highlighting our witch's hat in a sweet way.  

Simple...but super fun!  And then...I couldn't resist using our set for a yummy, treat filled pillow box.
