Look at that paper. It's from October Afternoon - isn't it divine? I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE designer paper. I buy it and hoard it. I take it out and and touch it and look at it and actually hate to cut it. I am in awe of its perfection. I know I'm not the only one. Fess up, those of who could easily join my DPHA (Designer Paper Hoarders Anonymous) group! My name is Sue, I am a Designer Paper Hoarder and I don't want help!
Anyway, I digress - on to the flower. I used the SU!'s scalloped circle punch to make five circles. I scrunched and crumpled them up and used SU!'s distressing tool around the edges. I stacked them up and then sewed the button onto the stack with jute twine. I then "fiddled" with the paper to get the look that I wanted. Dawn McVey does a picture tutorial that I drew from, and it was super easy. I know that I will make many, many more - it seems to add the right touch to cards that I love.
