The Tulips by the Shed...my sweet husband knows that I'm not crazy about the rickety metal shed...but fill the front with my favorite...the tulip...and it somehow makes everything right.
The Tulips in the Yard...Tulips on the east on on the south...they're great neighbors!
The Daylilies and the Daffodils...
The Funky Flower by the Well...
and The Pear and Apple Blooms...on their way to becoming pear applesauce in just a few short months.
I can't forget the lovely friends that have weathered the cold winter with us...
Belle...( my lovely Belle...so beautiful!)...
Bully...he looks intimidating (and he can be a bully)...but he's just a softy who loves his daily scratch...
and Berger...my baby...so ready for his spring cleaning!
If you've hung in for this spring around the farm I also have a card to share!
I couldn't wait to get my hands on the new Crate Paper designs...isn't this paper fun...so woodsy and Bohemian? I paired it with a kraft base and embossed sentiment tag and added a a pop of color using Papertrey Ink's Simple Circles stamp set and border die (also embossed), Pure Poppy cardstock, Beautiful Blooms #3 dies and Dark Chocolate Vintage Buttons. I love it!
Thanks for visiting, and have a fabulous day!
That is so pretty! I love the embossing on the cicle die! Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteLovely Tulips. Minme have already come and gone. :(
ReplyDeleteBelle and Berger are adorable...Bully, however, frighterns me..lol. Though I suppose he IS a cutie, also!
Love the paper on your card. I will have to find some of that! Great card
What a clever use of the circle border die on your card, Sue! I love the Scandinavian/Bohemian flavor! And what gorgeous tulips & other flowers, and animal buddies! Thanks for sharing the pictures!
ReplyDeleteI just love the colors in this card. The layout and everything is just so pleasing to the eye. The cute animals are perfect too!
ReplyDeleteWow - beautiful card! Love the way you used the circle border - it's so soft and pretty! I would have never thought of that.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this card! That paper is wonderful. I thought you stamped on some woodgrain paper. Thanks for a peek at the farm. Farms are so foreign and fun to me. I'm more of a city girl, but living in Indiana now opens my eyes to a new culture:)
ReplyDeleteSue, this is a FABULOUS card! I love the red and brown combo especially with the buttons layered over the die cut flowers! DIVINE!!! That paper is fun....I'm going to have to be on the look out for it!
