This hop is all about the flowers! Yep...our mission...flowers!
Hmmm...what to do? And then...I remembered that I'd been wanting to do some of those cute little notebooks that I've been seeing everywhere...and I'd been wanting to start writing some notes about gratefulness...and so...these were born!
Little notebooks...with my favorite daisies...the perfect place for me jot down my moments of gratitude. And there's a bonus...they're so, super easy! Here's a mini tutorial:
There are so many options for these little cuties! I used Kraft Cardstock for my covers...because I wanted to highlight our wonderful flowers...but any Designer Series Papers would work wonderfully, too! You can add as many or as little pages as you like...and the binding can be done in a number of ways. Okay...I don't know if this is actually "binding" per se...but this running stitch works perfectly for me...and I'm calling it binding. And just a note...if you're going to stamp on your notebook, you'll want to do it prior to scoring, folding and binding. Like I did here:
Here...I've also added extra holes and completed binding all the way up and down, including including over and under the ends.
And this one...I've bound the same way and double knotted on the outside.
If you're hopping in order you've just come from the amazing Steffi...and I just know that my friend Susan will have something incredible, too!
As always...
So clever, Sue! I love the binding you've created, and I love the two totally different looks you've created.
