A few weeks ago I had was waiting in the drive through of our local Panera Bread to pick up my favorite salad..BBQ with Chicken (for those with inquiring minds)...and when I got to the window I was told that my lunch had been paid for by the car in front of me. I think I said something like "Really? Mine?" It took me be surprise...in the most wonderful way...and I can't even tell you how that made my day! As I thinking about a project for this hop I knew I wanted to use the Here's to Cheer Stamp Set...and I knew wanted to use it in a different way...and then it jumped out at me. The sentiment just spreading cheer this Christmas. I wanted to do that. I wanted to spread a bit of cheer...to help someone else feel I had felt at the Panera Bread drive through. And so...I did this...my tree of holiday cheer!
I used the Cheerful Tags Framelits Dies to create these fun red tags...and embossed my sentiment in white on black. I typed the spread the holiday cheer ideas on white cardstock...and tied it all together...
onto my tree of cheer! When our family gathers for Thanksgiving next week we will each choose a tag...and we'll keep in touch throughout the holiday season about how it's all going! I can't wait!
Today...I was grateful for the gorgeous sunshine and warmth that comes with it...amazing weather for November in Illinois! I took my project outside in hopes of getting a great photo...and this is what happened first...
and then this...
and I'm still grateful for the day!
Thank you so much for joining our blog hop! If you're hopping in order you've just come from the fabulous Steffi...and I know you'll want to hop over to see my good friend Susan. She's sure to have something amazing!
