Mother's Day

Good Monday morning!  So much to do...asparagus and rhurbarb to cut...eggs to and laundry...and sharing some sweet memories of yesterday's wonderful Mother's Day.
Cards for our Mothers...beautiful new Crate Paper and American Crafts simple and lovely.
Their gifts...salad bowls!!  Hubby and I put together these beautiful "bowls" filled with buttercrunch and red leaf lettuces, arugula, swiss chard and garlic chives...with proper harvesting our moms should have fresh salad greens at their fingertips for almost the entire summer.
 A pinwheel...for a touch of fun!
Some family beautiful daughter and her husband...
my son and his sweet family...
and the best for last...Timothy...enjoying his dessert!
I hope that your Mother's Day was as simply wonderful as mine...great food, fun and family!
Thanks so much for visiting, and have a great day!!

  1. Oh I love the cards you made-- so pretty! And what a great gift idea! Love the photos of your family, too!

  2. The cards you made are beautiful... I'm sure your moms loved them. And their salad "bowls", too... what a great idea! You're so fortunate to have everyone nearby enough to do gifts like that -- and to celebrate mother's day with your own children and grandchild, too. Blessed you are!

  3. What a beautiful post...on a crafting level and on a "what a lovely family you have" level too. Just super.

  4. Beautiful family pics Sue! I love your cards with that fun bloom trim! I have some and can never seem to get it to look like this and so it comes off! You did a great job!
