and then I grabbed a few 3" x 4" cards...to die cut with the Leaflets Framelits Dies. I then put the All Year Long Project Life Accessory Pack to work on adding a few little details. The accessory packs include adorable little stamp sets...and this set has a little image that says the good stuff. Perfect. I embossed it and cut it out using a small die from the Tags & Labels Framelits Dies.
I also added a bit of washi tape (also from the Accessory Pack) to the tasting spoon I included with the pie box.
I seriously CANNOT WAIT to share these on Thanksgiving! And there's one more thing.
I'll ask our guests to write about what they're thankful for...or about something they enjoyed during the day...and I'll then add the cards to my Project Life album's Thanksgiving pages.
Thanks so much for joining our blog hop! If you're hopping in order you've just come from the super talented Steffi...and I know you won't want to miss what my friend Susan has for you next. It's sure to be fabulous!
As always...
Adorable favors! And how you've used the "scraps" of the PL cards -- genius! Love this idea, Sue!
ReplyDeleteWOW Sue - these are amazing. Your table is going to look SO awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love these, Sue!
ReplyDeleteLook at you, all clever and stuff! Those pie table favors are adorable, but the layered journaling cards stole my heart :)
ReplyDeleteI am dying over the pie boxes ... then you use the scrap to make those little cards!!!! Stop it!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beautiful project. I love your Goodies, simple but so cute and elegant. I just forget the cutie Pie thinlit, but it's s time to use it again. Greetings from Germany, Sandra
ReplyDeleteI always forget the negative cuts! Brilliant job on all projects.
ReplyDeleteI love these pie boxes and that you've included so many great ideas in this one post! I, too, love to do Thanksgiving table favors but it has been years since I made little "gratitude" note cards for the table and scrapbook memories. Thanks for reminding me with these beautiful projects!
ReplyDeleteHello from Maine! These Thanksgiving favors are over the top! Your guests will be truly blessed with your hospitality. Our family always writes down something we are thankful for, and then we try to guess who wrote what. We save them and reread them each year. I will HAVE to make some of these journaling cards...SUCH a great idea!
