Stamp Review Crew - Nailed It

Welcome...to Sunday...and to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop!  We're featuring the Nailed It Stamp Set...perfect for every guy in your life.  And...I hope you'll see it's also amazing for the girls, too!

http://stampreviewcrew.blogspot.com/2017/05/nailed-it.html

I fell head over heels in love with the Z-Fold note card...so I used our stamp set (and accompanying dies) to create this fun card.  Seriously...I think it's one of my favorite cards I've ever made.

I loved using the tools as the focal point...and I chose not to use a sentiment.  I did, however, include a pocket in the center panel...perfect for adding a gift card or a personal note.

As I've described below the DSP (and dies) I used are no longer available...so for those of you that already have the stamps and dies I created a second card using a similar (and super fun) DSP - Pick a Pattern - available on June 1st in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.

I used Crushed Curry in the place of the Delightful Dijon in my original project...and I replaced the retired Urban Underground Embellishments with the Metallic Enamel Shapes  Here they are...side by side.

And then...while I was at it...I used the same Pick a Pattern DSP to create this fun card...perfect for the girl in your life who loves to get her tools out, too!

 What a fun group!

If you're hopping in order you've just come from my Crew friend Twila...and I'm sure you'll want to hop over to see what the talented Martha has for you, too!

As always...

These are my project supply lists...and yes, they're a bit complicated.  The Stamp Review Crew featured stamp sets are chosen up to four months in advance...and May is always a tough month for us. Unfortunately the stamp sets and the accessories (dies, DSP, embellishments) might retire...and therefore be unavailable...before we can feature it.  And that's the case here.  The Build It Framelits Dies that coordinate with our featured set are no longer available...and the DSP and embellishments are also no longer available.  That being said...we decided to go forward and feature our set...Nailed It...because the stamps are still available through May 22, 2017...at least (in the US and Canada). And...we're hoping to provide fun ideas for those who already own the stamps and the dies.  For me...I've used two cards using a brand new DSP...Pick a Pattern...available on June 1st in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.

  10. Super cute set of cards. Great idea to show a card using retiring DSP and then newer DSP coming soon. Love the pocket in the middle section for a gift card. And the addition of a girlie card would make a great idea for a female buying a home of her own.
