TGIFC#118 - Technique Time

Good morning...and happy Friday!  I'm back...with something lovely for this week's TGIF Challenge!

http://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/

 It's TGIFC#118...and it's a Technique Time - Emboss Resist challenge!

Click the image above to go to the TGIF Challenges blog for all the details.  You'll be able to see what the TGIF designers have shared to inspire you...and you'll be able to see what other challengers have created, too!  But first...here's my emboss resist challenge project!

It's funny...when I was first introduced to embossing and emboss resist I was totally unimpressed.  But over time...I was won over...and now it's one of my favorite techniques.  Here...I heat embossed the pool and part of the flamingo in clear powder...and part of the flamingo in clear powder over black ink.  I love the varied look the different powder and ink combinations provide!  I added my color with ink and a sponge dauber, and I think it's my favorite emboss resist look.  It doesn't require perfection...and to me that's invaluable!  Ha!

How will YOU be inspired by this week's TGIF challenge?  You'll find the link to add your own project at the #TGIFC118 page HERE.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Have an amazing day!
