It's #TGIFC127..and it's tic-tac-toe!

I chose to tic-tac-toe across the top line...which meant that my project had to incorporate watercolor...had to be something other than a card...and I needed to use a punch or die cut. I have to say that when I first saw the Creep It Real stamp set I absolutely fell in LOVE with the tiny, graphic images...and I knew exactly how I wanted to use them! I wanted to stamp and emboss them...and watercolor them in fun, non-traditional-Halloween colors, like Berry Burst and Bermuda Bay...and then punch them out into these fun, little gems. And what would I do with those little gems, you ask? Well...something fun...of course.
My first idea was a travel tic-tac-toe! Something I could slip into my purse when we take our grandsons out to dinner...like this.
All I needed to add was a bit of washi and a Mini Pizza Box and I was set to go...with my tic-tac-toe on the go. Yep...I literally took the tic-tac-toe challenge! Ha!
I also love the idea of using the little gems as cupcake picks...or to liven up drink straws...or as tiny tags on mini candy bars. Or...they could be another on the go game...a memory game...like this.
And then...I've used watercoloring for my project, but the coloring could easily part of the on the go fun. Simply take along a few Stampin' Write Markers for a little pre-game coloring. Really...it's two games in one. And here's the deal...I don't make these projects fancy. And that's okay. They're paper...and they won't last forever. And that's okay, too...because the fun memories will last forever.
