Yes...it's World Card Making Day...a day dedicated to celebrating card making and the creativity and personal connection a handmade card can create. As for me...I'm delighted and honored to be celebrating with an AMAZING group of Artisans and designers from all over the world in today's World Card Making Day Blog Hop! So...let's get started!
I recently grabbed the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set and coordinating Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies...mostly because I LOVE the intricate leaf die cut. The entire bundle is pretty much magical...but the leaves have truly captured my heart! And so...when a pile of scraps on my desk got together and spoke to me as something fall...all I had to do as put the pieces together! Literally!
I simply die cut the full leaves in Berry Burst, Soft Sky and Pumpkin Pie...and layered them with the intricate leaf die cuts in Early Espresso. I added the sentiment and a bit of Wood Textures DSP...and finished it all up with Linen Thread and Rhinestone Basic Jewels. So easy...and just what I envisioned it would. Gotta love it when that happens, too!
