Eastern Palace Suite Meets...In Colors!

Good morning...and welcome back!  As promised I have another Eastern Palace Suite Meets post to share...and today the Suite meets our brand new In Colors!  I want to chat just a bit about the colors...because seriously...I do believe they are my favorite In Colors...EVER!

Aren't they just fabulous?  I just can't get enough of them...and so...with today's project I've made one in each color!


This fun twist card is the perfect way to show off both the Eastern Palace Suite dies and stamp set AND the In Colors!

#TGIF106 - Color Challenge

Good morning...and happy Friday!  I'm back...with something lovely for this week's TGIF Challenge!

So...I had a few things in mind when I set out to create this card.  Of course I wanted to use the  #TGIF106 color challenges...Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo and Emerald Envy.  Then...when I looked at my National Day Calendar (nationaldaycalendar.com) I noticed that in addition to May 4th being National Star Wars Day it is also Bird Day...hence my choice to use the Best Birds Stamp Set (and coordinating Birds and Blooms Thinlits Dies).  And finally...I wanted to use the GORGEOUS  Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies in a very different way.  Seriously...I've seen so many AMAZING projects using these dies and their coordinating Eastern Beauty stamp set...and I've loved them.  But here...for my something different...I added a hint of color to a simple white die cut and paired it with the black and white bird and tiny colored flowers.  I kind of like it!

#TGIF104 - Polka Dots!

Good morning...and happy Friday!  I'm back...with something super fun for the newest TGIF Challenge!

For me... polka dots = party!  Yes...a polka dot party...where bright and fun colors are a must!  And so...I grabbed some stamps and some ink and created my very own polka dot party...on paper!  Nothing fancy or measured or technical...just something that I loved.


I used my polka dots as the base for two cards...two very different cards.  First, I added a bit of black and a bit of bling for this clean and simple congratulations card.  I. LOVE. THIS. CARD...and I can see making about ten (or twenty) to have on hand.  Simple, bright and fun. 


And for my second card...this.


Here I added the floral die cuts...and again added the black and the bling...but in a bigger way, with the larger sentiment  and bling in three ways - with gold foil, gold thread and gold gems.    And it all started with the polka dots!
