A Bit of Kit Love Post'n'Go

I finally opened my Everyday Occasions Cardmaking Kit...and is it FABULOUS! I need three cards to pop in the mail...today...and this kit totally rescued me! These three cards...three of 17...yes, 17...came together in no time. And not only that...they're just lovely!

And while I was at it I gave a little more love to the March Paper Pumpkin kit, Sew You. I just can't get enough of that color combo!

Oh, and another hats off to Stampin' Up! for its versatility! The arrows in the Show & Tell 2 Photopolymer Stamp Set are perfect for dressing up the envelope for this card. Hooray!

You're a Gem

Yes...it's Paper Pumpkin time...and the March kit made its way here yesterday. YAY! I love these little kits...everything about them. I love that every month is a surprise...I love that each month it's something super cute...I love that each month brings something new - a challenging technique, a fun color combination, or a creative project type...and I love that even if I think I might not use the kit as suggested I can put on my creative thinking cap and find a fun way to use it in a way that I definitely would use. Seriously...what could be better?
So...I thought I'd start by sharing Stampin' Up!'s YouTube video of this month's kit:

See...it's ADORABLE! I haven't had a chance to get any stitched cards made, but I couldn't wait to dig into the goodies in that orange box...and here's a couple of cards I put together.

Little gems are hot right now...and I love the little gems in this month's kit - the Pool Party enamel accents...and that little stamp...how cute! And polka dots...well, I pretty much fall head over heels for just about anything with polka dots!

Oh...and let's not forget that PAPER PUMPKIN IS ON SALE DURING SALE-A-BRATION!! Yep...when you choose a 3-month prepaid subscription you get a discount AND you get too choose one (1) FREE Sale-A-Bration item.

A Little Lovin'...

Such craziness, this last month...sub-zero temps, a way too long string of grey days, the Super Bowl Day blizzard, influenza...and a cold that just won't go away! There's been a bit of sweetness too though...including some banana muffins and a bit of Everyday Extraordinary for Valentine's Day!

Our grandsons ADORE banana muffins...and to my delight they think the Everyday Extraordinary from their Nana is pretty sweet, too. Here's what I came up for their Valentine's Day breakfast.

Designer Series Paper (DSP)...in my humble opinion...is seriously the cat's meow! Need a punch of color? DSP can do it. Need a subtle hint of color? DSP can do it. Need pattern? DSP can do it. Here I've spruced up a couple of milk bottles and the Berry Basket with the black and white arrow pattern from the Stacked with Love DSP Stack. Glittery arrows, red hearts and a bit of LOVE seemed perfect. I'm smiling already...imagining the fabulous conversation we'll have about all things arrows. Boys will be boys, after all!

They'll also love the red and white paper straws...from the Pinwheel Party Refill Kit, the June, 2014 Paper Pumpkin kit. Oh...and the black twine is from Paper Pumpkin Ocotber, 2014 Boo-Tifull Bags Refill Kit. Paper Pumpkin kits are an INCREDIBLE value, and there are always "leftovers". I find myself turning to them again and again!

To order Paper Pumpkin kits or Refill kits you must be a subscriber..and there's no better to join Paper Pumpkin! During Sale-A-Bration the popular 3-month, prepaid subscription is on SALE...AND the 3-month prepaid subscription qualifies for a free item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog! Three months on sale...and something FREE...and access to all currently available Paper Pumpkin kits and refills in the store. WOW! Check it out HERE!

13 Days of Halloween - Day 13!

Good morning...and welcome to the final post of the 13 Days of Halloween series! I think today's project is my favorite of all...so bright and fun...and versatile!

I actually photographed this quite a while ago...before I had decided what I would package in these fabulous little boxes...and since then I still haven't been able to decide! There's too many choices!

But here's some ideas:

Hot cocoa packets in the big box...and homemade marshmallows and Halloween sprinkles in the littles;
Biscotti in the big...K-cups and/or tea bags in the littles;
A cute t-shirt in the big...hair doo-dads or lip gloss or socks in the littles;
Paint brushes and Halloween coloring pages in the big...paint pots in the littles;
Apples in the big...caramel cups in the littles;
Play-doh in the big...mini cookie cutters in the littles....okay, I think you're getting the idea...there's so many choices!

So that's it...the 13th day on Halloween day...and just for fun...
