Whimsical Thanks

Busy, busy Saturday - trying to get ready for a visit from our grandson, Timothy.  Yeah!  We so look forward to spending time with him, and of course we find that EVERYTHING he does is cute or funny!
Our front door opens into the kitchen, and the first thing he always does is ask for an apple.  How could we resist when when we know that this is what we'll get?
He's not into toys...he's more into my pots and pans.  We love having him underfoot!
I'm sharing a card that I made a while ago.  It's a little out of my comfort zone, and I don't know if I like it or not, but I do love the buttons and adore the stamp set, Papertrey Ink's Wonderfully Whimsical.
Thanks so much for visiting, and I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

  1. Aw, he's a sweetheart! That's so cute how he plays with the pots and pans. :)

I really like your card. I like how the yellow button looks like a sun. Cute!

  2. Oh, he is such a cutie-pie!!! Just precious! And I totally LOVE your card. How fun!!! Love the yellow button as the sun......Perfect!

  3. I think your card is SUPER cute!! It would also be out of my comfort zone as I seem to want to stack and layer to the sky, but this has a perfect balance - so whimsical!!

And your grandson is darling. I love seeing my parents with my children - it is some of my most cherished time - all of us together.

  4. Awwww, your grandson is a cutie! I remember my son at his age would always take out all the kitchen pots at my mum's house too :) Love that happy card, it made me smile!

  5. Cute grandson! And cute card - love all the colors of the buttons.

  6. Your grandson is adorable!! Pots and oans are the best!!
The buttons on your card are unexpected but oooh so cute. It looks like a big hillside of colourful flowers with a big bright sun overhead!!

  7. dont know which is cuter the card or the grandson!!! OOOh i just want to slobber on those chubby cheeks of his!!
I think you should be very proud of your card!!
