Stamp Review Crew - Thoughtful Banners

Welcome...to Sunday...and to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop!  We're featuring the Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set...a set that has everything you need to celebrate everyone and everything!

 http://stampreviewcrew.blogspot.com/2017/05/thoughtful-banners.html

This sentiment only set...and others like it...are perfect as a fun way to highlight not only the fun sentiment sayings in the set but also DSP and dies...an what could be better than that?  Here I've paired the happy birthday with the super fun Pick a Pattern DSP (available in the new 2018-2018 Annual Catalog) and the retiring Botannical Builder Framelits Dies.

So much fun!

If you're hopping in order you've just come from my Crew friend Tanya...and I'm sure you'll want to hop over to see what the talented Mickey has for you, too!

Stamp Review Crew - Nailed It

Welcome...to Sunday...and to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop!  We're featuring the Nailed It Stamp Set...perfect for every guy in your life.  And...I hope you'll see it's also amazing for the girls, too!

http://stampreviewcrew.blogspot.com/2017/05/nailed-it.html

I fell head over heels in love with the Z-Fold note card...so I used our stamp set (and accompanying dies) to create this fun card.  Seriously...I think it's one of my favorite cards I've ever made.

I loved using the tools as the focal point...and I chose not to use a sentiment.  I did, however, include a pocket in the center panel...perfect for adding a gift card or a personal note.

As I've described below the DSP (and dies) I used are no longer available...so for those of you that already have the stamps and dies I created a second card using a similar (and super fun) DSP - Pick a Pattern - available on June 1st in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.

I used Crushed Curry in the place of the Delightful Dijon in my original project...and I replaced the retired Urban Underground Embellishments with the Metallic Enamel Shapes  Here they are...side by side.

And then...while I was at it...I used the same Pick a Pattern DSP to create this fun card...perfect for the girl in your life who loves to get her tools out, too!

 What a fun group!

As always...

These are my project supply lists...and yes, they're a bit complicated.  The Stamp Review Crew featured stamp sets are chosen up to four months in advance...and May is always a tough month for us. Unfortunately the stamp sets and the accessories (dies, DSP, embellishments) might retire...and therefore be unavailable...before we can feature it.  And that's the case here.  The Build It Framelits Dies that coordinate with our featured set are no longer available...and the DSP and embellishments are also no longer available.  That being said...we decided to go forward and feature our set...Nailed It...because the stamps are still available through May 22, 2017...at least (in the US and Canada). And...we're hoping to provide fun ideas for those who already own the stamps and the dies.  For me...I've used two cards using a brand new DSP...Pick a Pattern...available on June 1st in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.

Stamp Review Crew - Weather Together

Welcome...to Sunday evening...and to the Stamp Review Crew blog hop featuring the Weather Together stamp set.  It's such a charming set...and it's chock full of images you will reach for time and time again to create notes of encouragement or love or celebration!

http://stampreviewcrew.blogspot.com/2017/04/weather-together.html

I often design to design...without a specific reason.  But in this case I needed a clean, simple note with a specific message...and the sometimes we all need shelter from the storm sentiment fit the bill perfectly.

My color choices were just as purposefully...Basic Grey with a hint of Crushed Curry...because sometimes life seems a bit grey...and we need just a wee bit of color.

Thank  you for hopping with the Stamp Review Crew tonight as we feature the Weather Together stamp set!  If you're hopping in order you may have come from the talented Bruno...and I know you'll want to hop over to see what my Crew friend Tanya has for you.  It's sure to be wonderful!

Stamp Review Crew - Oh So Succulent

Happy Sunday, and welcome to the Stamp Review Crew featuring the Oh, So Succulent stamp set!

http://stampreviewcrew.blogspot.com/2017/03/oh-so-succulent.html

I have to admit that I was late to the party...late in getting the Oh, So Succulent stamp set, that is...and the coordinating Succulent Framelits Dies, too.  I guess I felt like I needed a bit more inspiration before I added it to my order.  So...I went looking...and boy oh boy...did I find inspiration!  This stamp set and die bundle are absolutely amazing...and I've seen hundreds of fabulous project using them.  Seriously...hundreds!  For me...I wanted to do something a little different...something with a bit of a different color scheme.  And so...when and I came across a gorgeous photo of green succulents with these amazing yellow blooms I knew that's what I wanted to use!  And so...with green and yellow... and bits of red and black...I created this...

something to set aside for Mother's Day!

There are so many cool things about the Succulents Bundle that allowed me to create some fun details on my card.  First, my yellow flowers were created with dies that are not only perfect as succulent blooms...but they are also fun daisy-like flowers.  Then, one of the succulent flower dies has this AWESOME cutting detail that allows you to lightly bend the small cuts to give the "plant" amazing detail and texture.  Absolutely perfect for cards and tags!

I used them same yellow flower dies to create the succulent blooms on my Egg Carton gift packaging.  It's LOVE that by simply layering and adding them to different succulent die cuts the flowers have such a different look!

I haven't yet decided what to gift the Egg Carton will hold on Mother's Day...but the options are endless!

Thank you so much for hopping with the Stamp Review Crew tonight as we feature the amazing stamp set Oh, So Succulent!  If you're hopping in order you've just come from the talented Martha, and I know you'll want to hop on to see what my Crew friend Tanya has for you, too!
