Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop...our first for November!  I'm so happy you're here!

I've always wanted to prepare and have ready something I'd call grateful gifts...small tokens to help express my gratitude to special people during this season of Thanksgiving.  But every year fall seems to creep on me...and then Christmas is here...and there is never enough time.  But this year...instead of just wanting it I'm actually making it happen!

First I picked up a few fun little gifts...and then I was on to the packaging. I wanted something that I could use as a tie on...or that I could staple on...or that would work with a ribbon on a bag.  And here's what I did...

one tag...in two colors...with all of my crafting loves together!  Gold embossing, linen thread, button, great DSP, Kraft Cardstock, doily and amazing color.

So I have to be honest...I wasn't quite sure what to do with the Basket of Wishes images. I have seen so many amazing water coloring projects with this set...but water coloring is way outside of my comfort zone.  And then it hit me...gold embossing on Kraft Cardstock!  I love how it turned out!  And aren't these houndstooth prints in the Petals & Paisleys DSP AMAZING?  I've been tempted to hoard them...but no...I used them for my tags!

I think I met me goal of something that I could use as a tie-on...

and something that I could staple on...

and something that would work with a ribbon on a bag!

So I'm on my way with my grateful gifts...

but I still have a few to finish!

Thank you so much for joining our blog hop!  If you're hopping in order you've just come from the super talented Steffi...and I know you'll want to hop over to see what my friend Susan has for you. I'm sure it's amazing!
