#TGIF102 - Color Challenge

Good morning...and happy Friday! I hope you have something fabulous planned for your Friday...and I hope you'll have time to join us for our newest challenge at TGIF Challenges, too!

It's #TGIF102...and it's a color challenge...Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Sweet Sugarplum. Isn't this just the sweetest color trio?

Click the image above to go to the TGIF Challenge blog for the challenge details and to see what the TGIF designers have created to inspire you. Oh...and while you're there check out what other challengers have created, too!

As for me this trio just screamed Easter...and so...I thought I should whip up a few Easter tags...

along with a double batch of chocolate chip cookie dough...packaging just enough for a dozen in these cute pint containers...

to fancy up with my tags!

I know...chocolate chip cookies are not typical Easter fodder...but there IS a bit of method to my madness. I keep few containers of cookie dough in the freezer...so when I need a small gift for a hostess or for a friend who needs a pick me up or just because I feel like it all I have to do is add ribbon or a tag...or both, like I've done here...and I'm good to go!

I make chocolate chip cookie dough because it's super easy...and I always have everything I need to make it...and because it's a nice after Easter change of pace. You know...like when you've had enough Peeps...or jelly beans...or mallow eggs.

How will YOU be inspired by this week's challenge? You'll find the link to add you own project at the #TGIF102 Challenge page HERE. I can't wait to see what you create!

Stamp Ink Paper Challenge 92 - Color Inspiration

Good morning...and happy Tuesday! I'm back with Challenge #92 over at Stamp Ink Paper...where I've totally ejoyed my gig as this month's guest designer! Seriously...it's been so much fun, and I absolutely appreciate the opportunity to design with such an amazing group. It's gone too fast...but here we are...with a brand new challenge...this time a Color Inspiration!

This...for me...was a challenge, indeed. The inspiration palette was sooooo far outside my wheelhouse. But it's all good...because Stampin' Up! has so many inks, papers and embellishments to work with...so many options to choose from for this challenge.

In creating these gift boxes I was inspired to work with card stock in Rich Razzleberry, Flirty Flamingo and Pool Party...with gingham patterned DSP in shades of both Tip Top Taupe and Flirty Flamingo...and Flirty Flamingo ribbon.

I stamped the enjoy your special day sentiment...from the Oh, So Succulents stamp set...in Tip Top Taupe on Whisper White cardstock. I adore this sentiment...because it's not only simple, but it's versatile. Perfect for Mother's Day..or a birthday...or any other special day. Simply perfect.

And now...jump over to the Stamp Ink Paper blog for the Challenge #92 details...and don't forget to add your project at the link. I can't wait to see what you create!

As always...
