Little Things

I don't love the hot summer.  I enjoy the sun, but fall is more my style...the colors, the smells, the cool (and even cold) breezes, and of course all the deliciousness that comes from apples...caramel...and pumpkin.  I love it all...but my favorite thing is bringing the hooded sweatshirts out of their warm weather storage.   Their prep for the fall means a clean wash and a hang outside on the line to dry...and it has to be a cool, breezy day...like today.  I can already smell the fresh, fall smell that comes when slipping one over my head.  One of those little things.
I have a card to share today...birthday wishes already tucked into an envelope and off to someone special in our family.  I hope she has a wonderful day!
