A new Stampin' Up! catalog is on the horizon...one week from today, actually...Stampin' Up's very own version of in with the new. There's a bit of out with the old, too...the Retiring List...and one week left to grab the retiring stamps and accessories that you love...before they're gone forever.

Today...I hung out with the oldies...soon-to-be Stampin' Up! retirees, if you will...

because the oldies certainly can be the goodies!

Technique Tip:

Look through your stamp with an mind open to "unlikely pairs"...sets you wouldn't imagine you would pair together. This card includes images from the Geometrical stamp set and One Tag Fits All stamp set...sets I wouldn't necessarily have paired...without a specific inspiration. This inspiration is from the latest edition of Stampin' Success...a lovely, bi-monthly magazine...published by Stampin' Up! for demonstrators. It's a fabulous perk!
A partial image may be just the ticket to a perfect finish you're looking for. The tiny yellow "shine" is a partial image from a retired (and no longer available) stamp set, Gratitude for Days...and the large gems are also a partial image...from the One Tag Fits All stamp set.
