this pink rooster: #TGIF102

It's #TGIF102...and it's a color challenge...Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Sweet Sugarplum. Isn't this just the sweetest color trio?

As for me this trio just screamed Easter...and so...I thought I should whip up a few Easter tags...

along with a double batch of chocolate chip cookie dough...packaging just enough for a dozen in these cute pint containers...

to fancy up with my tags!

I know...chocolate chip cookies are not typical Easter fodder...but there IS a bit of method to my madness. I keep few containers of cookie dough in the freezer...so when I need a small gift for a hostess or for a friend who needs a pick me up or just because I feel like it all I have to do is add ribbon or a tag...or both, like I've done here...and I'm good to go!

I make chocolate chip cookie dough because it's super easy...and I always have everything I need to make it...and because it's a nice after Easter change of pace. You know...like when you've had enough Peeps...or jelly beans...or mallow eggs.
